I didn't think I'd go forever without visit dA, much less not uploading anything, but lately it's hard NOT to not go...I guess I've just given up on trying to be anything great and spectacular. It's sad, but that's the way it is; feel free to run away from the crap "art" anytime.

What draws you to a deviant artist/deviation?
This question popped up out of nowhere, and is something that I ended up thinking about for a good two hours. What draws me? Emotion, most likely. I can't be sure, but I think it's one of the baser reasons. Latino/Japanese features are one of my favorites, as well as anything not American; different cultures gets me more than anything else. I will not hesitate to favorite a deviation if they are in some way expressive, enrapturing (times eighty) and cheeky. I'm not drawn to photography only, as manipulations and drawings interest me just as much as bombtastic photography. Anything can make anyone really think, and I'm constantly finding deviant artists who can do this.

My uploads have been scarce from the way I used to upload, and one of the main reasons for this is lack materials. My USB cord died and I was left without a proper way of uploading my photos for about two months before (recently) my camera's screen broke. Any of the uploads recently haven't been in vain, as I don't know what I'm photographing. I suppose it could be worse (like me not having a camera at all), so I'm in no way angry or irritated about the situation. ;D

Also, there's a new logo (or I should just say logo) on my photographs. This was Courtney's idea, as she feels I could promote my photography better that way, and I agree. Now to get Hannah and Danny to do it is quite another thing altogether. The logo is also not to stop people from stealing my photographs (although this technically could stop anybody), but I am aware of the theft going around deviantArt. While I'm on the subject, I'll make one thing clear: I don't really care. I neither do commission work, nor do I get paid, and I also don't photography anybody I'm not familiar with. To steal something like my photographs gains you nothing: recognition, being one. My photography is amateur at best, and to think anybody will steal my photographs is laughable.

ALL celebrity-esque work from myself has been deleted (read the previous update). I won't lie, it did kill me on many levels. Over the past three years, it has showed my skill grow to where it's at now, and unfortunately, I will be the only one to see that. You can still see the resources (on this update) from some of the stuff I did keep.

I will no longer be doing celebrity-esque graphics (INCLUDING models, although I will retain the belief that they are simply not celebrities) from now on. Well, since September of 2007, technically. Because of the "internet" laws, I feel I shouldn't display them...publicly; I have never claimed the images as mine, but since the law states that it's illegal, I will have to follow along with everybody (semi-willingly). The graphics here are displayed for archive purposes only; they WILL NOT be deleted - unless, of course, I decide otherwise.

I WILL be doing graphics still, just with my own materials. =] And for those of you who visit my sites (it's doubtful anyone does, but for note sakes) you will rarely see models on my layouts - this will be because it's either a fanlisting or mini-fansite. Just a side note, in case anyone feels the need to point it out.
